Hotbox!

So an update on that skirt kit project I started alittle while ago. We met with our client, Karyn from The Workroom for a progress critique early last month and everyone's proposals went very well. Karyn was very open to ideas and seemed really into each of our proposals. I posted my designs for the skirt back in March and we narrowed down the choices to this one... We were also required, as part of the project, to come up with some additional ideas for the client to choose from. I guess the idea was to give us a bit of freedom from having to make skirts or incase the skirt design was a bust. Anyhow, one of my proposed ideas was, what they call, a stuffie - sorta like a stuffed animal toy thingy. I chose to print both in the end to cover my bases. In addition, packaging or marketing was something we had to consider. I made very simple packaging to go with my simple kit designs. We all met up @ The Workroom in Toronto to go over our products with Karyn. Everyone's projects looked great and Karyn seemed excited about the results from our first meeting. Please check out The Workroom Flickr pool to see all the gory details from our crit @ The Workroom and to see pictures of my skirt kit. In the end, I think the stuffie was successful, and the skirt had potential. Here are some shots of the Stuffie in action - for your viewing pleasure.... =)
