About

Hi!
I'm Keiley
and I make stuff.

About Keiley: {pronounced: KEE-LEE}
Keiley is a small human girl, sometimes referred to as an “artist”.
She studied some random things before landing in Craft & Design at Sheridan College. Now graduated with an honours diploma in Textile Design, she works in the industry like a real grown-up, but still eats animal crackers and drinks from juice boxes like before.

About Leikey Designs:

Leikey Designs is a small-production textiles company producing handmade toys, needle-felted sculptures and custom designs. Everything is designed & handmade by Keiley herself.

About the Logo, a fox:
Charged with the task of developing a new product for The Workroom, a sewing studio in Toronto, I designed a DIY Stuffie Kit for the beginner sewer. A childhood interest in foxes, likely stemming from a Disney movie, the first stuffie design was a fox. And so became my very first design ever sold.

About the Name, Leikey: {pronounced: LEE-KEE}
Growing up, like most, I received many-a-nickname. Leikey, is the one that stuck.
My two little cousins on repeat singing “Keiley!” quickly turned into an anagram that became a fitting identity. Many of the products in the shop now are inspired and approved by them.
